About the job
You will create the qualified pipeline that our Enterprise Sales team closes. This is a hands-on individual contributor role: you will prospect, run outbound campaigns, qualify inbound interest and book meetings with mortgage lenders, working closely with Enterprise Sales Managers, Marketing and our Partnerships/ Adoption team.
What you’ll do
• Prospect into your assigned territories, from the top 200 lenders down market, including independent mortgage bankers, banks, credit unions and brokers. • Build and run multi-touch outbound sequences across email, phone and LinkedIn, tailored by lender type and buyer role. • Respond quickly to every inbound lead, qualify it, and route it to the right Enterprise Sales Manager/ Customer Success Manager with full context. • Follow up on partner-sourced leads, events and webinars in coordination with the Marketing team. • Book qualified discovery meetings and hand them off with clear notes on need, timing and decision makers. • Keep HubSpot accurate and current: contacts, activity, lead status and attribution. • Test messaging and share what is working (and what isn’t) with Sales and Marketing every week. • Take part in weekly role play on messaging and objection handling. Requirements What you bring
- 2+ years in business development, sales development or demand generation for B2B SaaS.
- Mortgage industry experience is strongly preferred; you can speak to lender pain points with credibility.
- A track record of hitting or beating meeting and pipeline targets.
- Strong writing and phone skills, and comfort with high-volume, personalized outreach.
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot (or Salesforce) and sales engagement tools.
- Self-driven, organized and coachable, and comfortable working remotely with a distributed team.
