Summary: The Admission Nurse Team Leader supports the Sr. Director of Intake Admissions by providing day-to-day leadership and clinical oversight to the field admissions team. This role ensures timely, accurate, and compassionate admissions that align with the philosophy, mission, and regulatory compliance standards of Calvary Hospice. The Team Leader facilitates field supervision, documentation review, education, and professional development of admission nurses to support high-quality patient and family-centered care. Hours: 9am - 5pm Salary: 124,800.04 - $149,300.10 annually Qualifications:
• Current New York State Registered Nurse License/Permit.
- Current New York State Registered Nurse License/Permit.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience; hospice or palliative care experience preferred.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- A valid driver's license is required. A vehicle is required to commute to patients.
- Exhibits an ability and attitude relative to the spirit of caring and tradition at Calvary Hospital as required by specific job duties and functions.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN required.
