About the Role We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Backend with 4–6 years of hands-on experience in designing and building scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Golang and hands-on experience with System Design, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and MySQL . You will be responsible for designing backend services, solving complex engineering problems, and building systems that can scale with business growth. Experience: 4–6 Years Employment Type: Full-time Requirement: 1 Location: Work from office (Bangalore - Domlur | 5 days) Requirements Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend services using Golang.

- Own backend components/services end-to-end, from design and development to deployment and production support.
- Participate in system design and architecture discussions and make appropriate technology and design decisions.
- Design and implement REST APIs and distributed backend services .
- Work with MongoDB and MySQL for data modeling, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Build and maintain search and indexing solutions using Elasticsearch .
- Design and implement event-driven architectures using Kafka .
- Identify and resolve performance, scalability, reliability, and production issues.
- Write clean, maintainable, testable, and production-ready code.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with Product, Frontend, Data, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to improving the team's engineering standards.
- Take ownership of technical problems and drive them to resolution.
- 4–6 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Golang .
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with System Design .
- Experience designing scalable and distributed systems .
- Strong experience with MongoDB , including:
- Data modeling
- Indexing
- Query optimization
- Aggregation
• Hands-on experience with MySQL and relational database concepts.
- Hands-on experience with MySQL and relational database concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch , including indexing and search optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka and event-driven systems.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems .
- Good understanding of concurrency, data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with production systems and troubleshooting complex issues.
- Experience working with AWS/GCP/Azure .
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes .
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar .
- Experience building highly available and fault-tolerant systems.
- Experience working in a high-scale consumer/product environment.
