You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities: The Machine Operator 2 is responsible for operating the Big Red sealer.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Big Red sealer
- May use computer to load printer software
- Set up and verify weigh scale
- Load/unload sealing equipment with product and packaging material
- Recognize and react to problems with equipment, make adjustments as required
- Inspect and verify product according to quality standards
- Work with Machine Technician to resolve problems with equipment
- Clean equipment as required to ensure proper operation
- Break down scrap packages
- Able to work effectively within small teams
- Accurately complete scrap tickets
- Accurately complete daily production sheet
- Accurately update hourly goal board
- Maintain production pace and standards
- Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area
- Practice 5Ss
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Basic math skills
- Basic mechanical skills
- Basic computer skills
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of machine operation experience preferred
