Job Title: Post Doctoral Scholar - Physiology & Cell Biology
Department: Medicine | School Biomedicine Science Physiology and Cell Biology
Post Doctoral Scholar to pursue specialized research training, education and experience under the guidance of a scientific mentor in the Department of Physiology and Cell Biology; plans, designs and executes experiments of considerable scope and complexity in the assigned research lab; collects and analyzes data for research sponsored by appropriate agencies and Institutions; identifies and selects problems to be studied; develops and troubleshoots new experimental techniques and protocols; attends research seminars; contributes to manuscript preparation and supports technical writing; participates in preparation of grant applications for extramural funding; performs additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Education & Experience Required To be considered for this Postdoctoral Scholar position, candidates must possess a Ph.D. in the biomedical sciences, requires applicants to demonstrate strong research skills, data analysis proficiency, and statistical expertise, coupled with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Successful candidates will have a proven ability to collaborate effectively within diverse teams while also showcasing independent research capabilities and a strong trajectory towards research productivity, including peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.
