Laurel Heights Hospital is a 112 -bed facility located in Atlanta Ga . We are dedicated to providing youth with compassionate mental health treatment that encourages self-responsibility and personal growth. We provide psychiatric treatment to children and adolescents that present with a broad range of psychiatric, behavioral disorders and autism . A clinically skilled multidisciplinary team works to partner with the youth and family to accomplish their goals in a supportive and therapeutic environment.
The COOKS
Must be able to:
- Maintain self-control in volatile or hostile customer service interactions.
- to concentrate on work amidst distractions such as noise, conversations and foot traffic;
- consistently meet deadlines; and finish all food preparation at specified serving time;
- Flexible in work hours in order to meet patient and organization operating needs.
- Read and comprehend recipes or instructions on prepackaged products.
- Read, convert and adjust mathematical measurements for recipe adjustments.
- use kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, mixers and dishwashers;
- Work independently, in a restricted physical environment for extended periods of time.
- Perform several tasks concurrently.
- Maintaining information as highly confidential.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience Cooking or Baking. Experience must include preparing meals for large quantities
- Culinary School or Vocational Culinary School Preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Hospital Food Service desirable
- ServSafe Certification
