Under general supervision, the Registered EEG Technologist III records, by means of electronic equipment, neurophysiologic potentials for the diagnosis and prognosis of diseases and conditions involving the nervous system. This position demonstrates competence and works under indirect supervision (EEG Coordinator, EEG Unit Leader, EEG Specialist or physician must be immediately available for assistance during all procedures). Additional Job Description Graduation from a CAAHEP accredited program of Electroneurodiagnostic (END) technology or the equivalent and registered as an EEG Technician by ABRET required and must be maintained. One year EEG Technician work experience required. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
