Responsible for following all safety and quality standards required as required by Company Policy. The position functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Position Responsibilities:
- Operate packaging line and other plant duties as assigned
- Operate forklift, slipsheet machines, and pallet jacks to move product and load trucks/containers accordingly
- Unload incoming material and document accordingly
- Understand and follow shipping schedule to ensure on time packaging and shipping
- Gather, inspect, and complete paperwork required for shipping and traceability
- Follow all policies and procedures required by Preferred Popcorn that involve the packaging of products
- Complete appropriate documentation in order to comply with company guidelines, not limited to packaging and finished product traceability
- Monitor CCP completing appropriate paperwork
- Perform food safety and quality inspections on finished product
- Collect retention samples from customer orders
- Report any food safety, quality, and occupational concerns to management immediately
- Follow all policies and procedures on safety, cleanliness, and BRC/FDA
- Other duties as assigned by the Plant Operations Manager and management

Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
0 - 6 Months
Preferred qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
6 Months - 1 Year
Forklift Certification preferred
