Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working closely with different teams to ensure that the software meets specific business requirements. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team to enhance productivity and quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration into project workflows.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in BMC Helix ITSM.
- Strong experience in designing and developing custom software solutions using modern frameworks.
- Ability to work within agile development environments and contribute to sprint planning and execution.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving complex software issues to maintain system reliability.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in BMC Helix ITSM.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
