Job Description Schedule: Full-Time Nothing gets past you – you see the fingerprints and the dust bunnies. You are hard-working, detail-oriented, professional, friendly, and efficient. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the community housekeeping programs to ensure that areas of the community are maintained in a safe, clean, and comfortable manner for our residents and guests. In this position, your main responsibilities will include:
- Develop schedules for the housekeeping team
- Communicate cleaning schedule changes to the residents and/or family members
- Conduct daily inspections of the interior of the community, immediately addressing any deficiencies ensuring the safety of the community
- Coordinate cleaning of rent ready and move-in ready apartments
- Train new and existing staff in community and state required policies and procedures
- Responsible for hiring and supervising the housekeeping team
Qualifications To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences, strengths, and skills:
- A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our Residents
- Minimum requirement of high school diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) years of housekeeping experience required
- One (1) year in a supervisory or management position in housekeeping or environmental services
