• Work with a cross functional team to provide support to production shop floor
- Work with a cross functional team to provide support to production shop floor
- Investigate, incorporate and close out changes to manufacturing procedures
- Respond to floor requests and provide support (Andon System response)
- Complete updates to job instruction sheets
- With minimal direction use customer tools to route products through shop floor from assembly to shipment
- Assist in the documentation of standard practices
- Experience with GD&T a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline with up to 1 year internship or co-op experience preferred.
- Associate degree in engineering discipline with 3-5 years manufacturing experience or in lieu of a degree 6-8 years of manufacturing engineering experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment but can also be self-directed required
- Due the nature of the work, you must be a US Citizen
Salary: $28.00 to $33.00 per hour depending on experience
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan. Work Requirements: This role is considered 100% on-site position in Rockford, ILL
• You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, zero travel is required. Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required. Benefits:
