What you’ll own
- You will be owning the designing and planning test strategies for projects and applications
- You will be undertaking planning activities for agile deliveries
- You will work alongside the Automation Test Lead to progress automation backlog items
- You will create automated tests to enhance the existing test suite using Selenium
- You will support and maintain the test automation framework with respect to implementation of new features, existing features and bug fixes
- You will be analysing requirements and user stories to derive automated test cases, adding to the test suite using Selenium
- You will be executing tests thoroughly to ensure software quality, running automated tests and identifying defects
- You will be actively contributing to process improvement initiatives and enhancements to current procedures including recommending quality improvements
- You will be working with project teams to resolve any issues in a timely manner whilst keeping relevant stakeholders informed of progress and challenges
- You will be supporting and maintaining the test automation framework with respect to implementation of new features, existing features, or bug fixes
What you'll bring
- Previous experience of working as a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer
- Curios – you ask the right questions, listening and learning to get better every day
- Experience within an agile development environment
- Experience of test automation using Selenium Web Driver
- Ability to refactor code to reduce complexity

- Knowledge of software testing procedures and be skilled in test planning, test estimation, prioritisation and risk-based testing
- Determined – you stay open – winning, and failing, as one. Always looking for solutions that add value.
- Practical experience of agile testing methodologies – BDD, TDD etc.
- Making decisions, often with limited information and communicating these to others within the team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Unix and SQL skills
