.NET DeveloperLocation: Farmington Hills, MI (Hybrid, 3 days/week onsite) | Contract-to-HireOverviewOur client is seeking strong, hands-on .NET Developers to join its Underwriting Product Team, responsible for both production support and new feature development. The role calls for deep .NET (C#) and SQL experience, a product mindset, and the ability to balance the stability of existing systems with the delivery of new capabilities.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and enhance application features supporting underwriting workflows.Provide production support, including troubleshooting Critical/High issues, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing sustainable fixes.Partner with product owners, QA, and other engineers as an active member of an agile product team.Build and maintain backend services using .NET (C#) and SQL, with a focus on performance and reliability.Develop, deploy, and support solutions using AWS cloud technologies.Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement.Contribute to on-call or support rotations as needed to ensure system stability.Required Qualifications8+ years of software development experienceStrong, hands-on experience with .NET (C#) development and SQLSolid experience with relational database designExperience building and supporting applications in AWS environmentsProven ability to diagnose and resolve production issues efficientlyStrong problem-solving and communication skillsSelf-motivated, curious, and able to work independentlyPreferred QualificationsExperience with API-first and event-driven architectureFamiliarity with agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practicesPay rate: $60/hr. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position, hybrid (3 days/week onsite) in Farmington Hills, MI. Candidates must be US Citizens, Green Card holders, or authorized to work on H4 EAD or L2 EAD.
