Senior Contractor, Enterprise Data Process Improvement Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid) | Reports To: Director, Data Programs | Contract Overview Our client is seeking a Senior Contractor, Enterprise Data Process Improvement to assess how work flows through its enterprise data organization. The role delivers measurable improvements to how data work is requested, prioritized, delivered, governed, and supported. It is a principal-level individual contributor role with a fixed 9-month mandate to implement change and hand ownership to internal teams. Responsibilities
Assess end-to-end enterprise data workflows across demand intake, prioritization, delivery, governance, support, and reporting Identify bottlenecks, manual effort, and gaps in the current operating model Design and implement 2–4 high-value process improvements within the engagement period Automate manual work through workflow automation, dashboards, and reporting Strengthen governance, data quality, and metadata practices within the delivery process Facilitate working sessions and build alignment across cross-functional stakeholders Document new processes and transition ownership to internal teams by the end of the 9-month term
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in enterprise data or technology Proven experience leading cross-functional process improvement or operating-model change Background in data engineering, data platforms, or data architecture Hands-on experience with workflow automation, dashboards, and reporting Working knowledge of data governance, data quality, and metadata management Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Retail or supply chain industry experience Experience with federated or data-product operating models Power BI and Power Automate ServiceNow, Jira, and Smartsheet Lean, Six Sigma, Prosci, or PMP certification
Pay rate: $55/hr. This is a 9-month contract position, hybrid (2 days/week) in Irving, TX. Candidates must be Green Card holders or US Citizens.
