Join First Solar as an Engineer III focused on scaling, qualifying, and improving thin film deposition processes used in solar module manufacturing. In this role, you'll work closely with manufacturing, quality, maintenance, engineering, and equipment vendors to bring new processes online, optimize existing operations, and solve complex production challenges. You'll use statistical analysis, process control, Six Sigma methodologies, and data-driven problem solving to improve quality, reliability, and throughput. Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree in engineering and 5+ years of experience in semiconductor, photovoltaic, or other advanced manufacturing environments, with experience analyzing manufacturing data using tools such as SQL, Python, JMP, Minitab, or similar software. This role offers technical leadership opportunities, may include mentoring other engineers, and requires 10-20% travel.
