Job Description As a veterinary assistant , you’ll support our doctors and hospital team throughout the patient-care process. Your day may include:
• Safely handling and restraining dogs and cats
- Safely handling and restraining dogs and cats
- Assisting with patient intake and triage
- Obtaining and documenting medical histories
- Collecting and processing laboratory samples
- Assisting with diagnostic imaging and radiographs
- Providing nursing care for hospitalized patients with varying levels of stability
- Administering medications as directed
- Preparing patients for surgery and assisting during procedures
- Supporting anesthesia monitoring and patient recovery
- Communicating treatment plans and recommendations clearly with clients
- Keeping treatment and patient-care areas clean, organized, and ready for the next patient
Qualifications We’re seeking a veterinary assistant with at least one year of veterinary experience preferred. Experience with animal restraint, sample collection, medical histories, laboratory testing, radiographs, surgical assistance, or anesthesia monitoring is a plus. We’re especially interested in a veterinary assistant who is:

Additional Information Pay Range: $14 to $18 per hour Schedule: Full-time| Monday-Friday, closed weekends We offer our staff:
