We are currently looking to hire a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at Westside Animal Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
- Salary: $19-$22/hr per hour, depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location.
- Schedule: 4/10, some Saturday coverage required.
- Hospital is open Monday-Friday 7:30 am – 6 pm, Saturday 8 am – 3 pm.
- Location: 1603 W Colorado Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80904

Who You Are:
- 3 + years of veterinary clinical experience, as a Veterinary Technician
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in Colorado, or eligible to transfer/acquire state license within 3 months of hire
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
- Passion for working with small animals, birds, and their owners
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint for a variety of species
- Ability to perform nursing care in a hospital
- Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
- Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
- Dental procedure experience, scaling and polishing
- Skilled in IV Catheter placement and all blood draws
- Anesthesia monitoring and surgical experience including intubation, monitoring, pre-operative and post-operative care
- Laboratory skills including cytology set-up and interpretation
- Diagnostic experience including digital radiology, dental radiology, and ultrasound-guided cystocentesis
- And all other duties of a Veterinary Technician as allowable by law
