Our Trivandrum team works from the Doczo HomeCare office in Sasthamangalam and sends nurses to homes across the city, from Kowdiar, Pattom, and Vellayambalam to Kazhakkoottam and Technopark. Families usually call us after a discharge from hospitals such as Cosmopolitan, PRS, and GG Hospital, or when an elderly parent needs injections, dressings, or tube care at home. Trivandrum is also where our in-house general physician makes doctor home visits, so when a patient you care for needs to be seen by a doctor, the same team arranges it. Many of the families who book live abroad, and your visit notes are how they keep up with their parent’s care. Full-time pay is ₹25,000 to ₹50,000+ a month, and part-time work is paid per visit. What you’ll do Each task is tagged with the qualifications we assign it to. Within that, your duties also depend on your experience and what you are confident doing.
• Wound dressing (BSc, GNM, ANM): Sterile dressing of surgical wounds, diabetic ulcers, and pressure sores, watching for signs of infection.

- Injections (BSc, GNM, ANM): Intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as prescribed, with safe sharps disposal.
- IV administration (BSc, GNM): Prescribed IV fluids and antibiotics for stable patients at home, checking vitals through the infusion.
- Catheter and Ryles tube care (BSc, GNM): Urinary catheter and Ryles tube care that follows the hospital’s or doctor’s plan.
- Colostomy care (BSc, GNM, ANM): Stoma pouch changes and skin care, and showing the family the daily routine.
- Post-surgical and post-discharge care (BSc, GNM): Medicines, wounds, and drains in the first days at home, escalating fever, swelling, or unusual pain early.
- Personal care and mobility (ANM, GDA): Help with bathing, feeding, changing position, and moving safely, including for bedridden patients.
- Vitals and visit notes (BSc, GNM, ANM, GDA): Checking blood pressure, pulse, temperature, oxygen, and blood sugar, making sure medicines are taken on time, and recording each visit for the family and our care team.
