The Associate Director-Product Management & Development role will lead the strategy, development, growth, and lifecycle management of AT&T’s Fiber Broadband product portfolio for business customers. The role has broad business ownership, including portfolio strategy and roadmap, P&L performance, business cases and investment decisions, pricing and competitive strategy, product development and launches, fiber penetration and subscriber growth, and go-to-market execution. The leader will work extensively across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Technology, Operations, and other product teams to grow Fiber Broadband and expand converged mobility relationships.

We are looking for an experienced product and business leader who can combine strategic thinking with strong financial and analytical skills, translate customer and market insights into investment and product decisions, lead complex cross-functional initiatives, communicate effectively with senior executives, and develop a team.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Define and execute the Fiber Broadband product strategy, multi-year portfolio roadmap, investment priorities, and market differentiation plan, while managing timing, dependencies, funding decisions, and delivery risks.
  • Drive Fiber Broadband penetration, subscriber growth, and converged mobility attach by identifying high-opportunity customer segments and locations, working with Sales to target them, and launching programs that expand converged relationships and reduce churn.
  • Lead product development from concept through launch, including user stories, requirements, technical development, testing, beta, controlled introduction, and general availability.
  • Own portfolio P&L performance, including forecasting, revenue optimization, cost management, expense allocation, revenue attribution, KPIs, performance reporting, and corrective actions.
  • Develop and oversee business cases for new products, capabilities, offers, and capital investments; review assumptions, pressure-test financial models, and evaluate competitive and adjacent-market impacts.
  • Conduct ongoing customer, competitive, and market analysis—including offers, pricing, positioning, and industry trends—to guide product strategy, pricing, differentiation, and investment priorities.
  • Identify customer and seller experience improvements that reduce friction and churn, strengthen adoption, and increase customer lifetime value.
  • Drive go-to-market execution with Sales, Distribution, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Technology, and other partners, including positioning, value proposition, channel readiness, launch performance, and aligned compensation strategies.
  • Develop and deliver executive-ready presentations, business updates, and decision recommendations to senior leadership and AT&T officers.
  • Lead direct reports and cross-functional teams by setting priorities, developing talent, and creating accountability for business and delivery outcomes.

What you’ll need:

  • Experience developing and executing product and portfolio strategies aligned with business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Experience leading product development and lifecycle management, from concept and launch through optimization and maturity.
  • Demonstrated experience with P&L management, financial analysis, and business case development to support product and investment decisions.
  • Experience developing pricing strategies and conducting market and competitive analysis.
  • Experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience using data, analytics, and performance metrics to evaluate product performance and drive business decisions.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders across multiple areas of the organization.
  • People leadership experience, including developing, coaching, and leading teams.
  • Experience communicating and presenting recommendations to senior and executive-level leadership.
  • Relevant experience in fiber broadband, wireline connectivity, telecommunications, or converged connectivity would be particularly valuable.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate customer, market, financial, and technology insights into actionable product strategies and investment recommendations.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, product development, portfolio management, or a related field.
