We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with project drawings and documents, particularly in AutoCAD/ZCAD and 2D drawing packages. You will work closely with design and development teams to prepare and manage project drawings for a variety of equipment such as agitators, pressure vessels, storage tanks, and more.
Job Title: Mechanical Draftsman Location: Pune Job type: Full Time No. of Positions: 03 Experience: 1 to 3 Years Experience with project drawing and documents. Qualification: ITI Draughtsman / Associate degree in Drafting
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate closely with design development teams to create detailed project drawings.
- Prepare drawings such as P&ID, General Arrangement Drawings, Piping Layout, and Equipment Fabrication Drawings (e.g., Agitators, Pressure Vessels, Storage Tanks & Heat Exchangers).
- Develop Structural/Skid Detail Drawings based on equipment specifications.
- Manage multiple projects within specified timelines, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Work with project engineers and production engineers on various projects.
- Understand the scope of work for each project and perform site visits for surveying as required.
- Carry out detailed drafting work, converting conceptual designs into detailed engineering and manufacturing drawings.
- Ensure all drawings comply with company and industry standards, including GDNT and ASME.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/ZCAD and 2D drawing packages.
- Hands-on experience with ERP software.
- Strong understanding of GDNT and ASME standards.
- Excellent technical communication skills, particularly with engineers and manufacturing teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
