Interns will gain exposure to the teams and functions that help Brookfield develop and maintain investor relationships, execute fundraising initiatives and support the broader client experience.
About the Roles
As a Summer Intern, you may work within one of our key business functions including Business Management, Client Relationship Management, Fundraise Management, or Strategic Investor Engagement. Depending on placement, you may support initiatives related to institutional client engagement, fundraising strategy and execution, business operations, data and technology, or strategic investor programs. Throughout the 10-week program, you’ll gain practical experience, contribute to meaningful projects and collaborate with colleagues across the Global Client Group and broader Brookfield organization. Interns will have the opportunity to develop an understanding of institutional client relationships, fundraising and alternative asset management while building analytical, communication and project management skills.

Assist with client and prospect research, meeting preparation, engagement tracking, internal coordination and follow-up, while gaining exposure to Brookfield’s investment strategies and fundraising activities.

Assist with fundraising strategy and execution, monitor investor engagement and fundraising activity, prepare presentations and other materials for internal and external use, conduct research on private funds, competitors and market trends, and help track key fundraising priorities and deliverables. Collaborate cross-functionally to support broader fundraising initiatives.
- Business Management: Support initiatives designed to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Global Client Group (GCG). Assist with business planning, reporting, process improvement, project coordination and other strategic and operational initiatives that support teams across GCG. Depending on business needs, the role may also involve supporting data, technology and automation initiatives, including reporting and analytics, workflow improvements, data quality efforts and the development of scalable tools and solutions to enhance business processes and decision-making.
- Strategic Investor Engagement: Support initiatives focused on deepening engagement with key institutional investors. Assist with investor research and profiles, briefing materials, engagement planning, data and insights, and coordination across teams to support tailored investor programs and strategic relationships.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Client Relationship Management, Fundraise Management, Investor Relations, Marketing, Investment Teams, Legal, Compliance and other functions on projects and initiatives throughout the summer.
- Participate in team meetings, training and development opportunities designed to build knowledge of Brookfield, alternative investments, fundraising and institutional investors.
