2nd shift hours Wed-Sat 5pm-3:30am
Pay: $20.50/hr
Pick, pull, and move whole pallets of products while operating a cherry picker while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. Place materials to be staged and put away in a warehouse environment.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate cherry picker/order picker forklifts to safely retrieve, pick, and move products from elevated warehouse storage locations.
- Pick and fulfill customer orders accurately and in a timely manner using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Verify order numbers, product descriptions, quantities, and locations to ensure order accuracy.
- Label and prepare picked products, pallets, and packages for shipping.
- Safely navigate warehouse aisles and elevated racking systems while operating cherry picker equipment.
- Assist with staging, replenishment, put-away, and locating inventory as needed.
- Report damaged products, pallets, equipment, or inventory discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and forklift maintenance checklists.
- Monitor battery levels, properly charge equipment, and maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures, including proper use of fall protection and required personal protective equipment (PPE).
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate other forklifts and material handling equipment as needed.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including inventory organization, staging, and order preparation.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)
- Previous experience operating cherry picker/order picker forklifts preferred.
- Ability to safely operate equipment at elevated heights while using required fall protection.
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems preferred.
- Ability to understand instructions in the country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold storage facilities or up to 100°F/37°C in dry storage facilities while wearing company-provided PPE and freezer gear.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs; weight requirements may vary by facility.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed.
- Comfortable working in warehouse environments with varying noise levels.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Range:$19.18 - $32.40
