About the Department The Neurology Unit at St. John Hospital is a 22 bed neuro step-down unit. We specialize in neurology patients and cardiac overflow. This unit was created 6 years ago to provide the care needed to patients post intervention (thrombectomy, TNK, stents). Being a step-down unit, we are trained to take cardiac drips and provide the necessary oversite for patients due to our staffing matrix. We are a closed unit who believe in caring for all of the patients not just the ones assigned to you. We have all private rooms with built in avasys (virtual safety monitoring) cameras in all of our patient rooms. Role Overview As a Registered Nurse, you will provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. You will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, ensuring the best outcomes for patients and their families. Your role is vital in supporting patients, families, and the healthcare team, making a direct impact on patient well-being and recovery.
