Role - Senior Director || Location - Bangalore The opportunity This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of AI, product, technology and business. You will define the organisation-wide AI product strategy and build the portfolio that moves AI from isolated use cases to repeatable, trusted and commercially meaningful outcomes.The portfolio may span generative AI, predictive machine learning, intelligent automation and AI-enabled experiences across areas such as fraud detection, risk management, customer support, personalised payment experiences and operational efficiency.
What you will own:
- Set the AI product vision, strategy and roadmap in close partnership with business and technology leadership.
- Build and prioritise an AI product portfolio based on customer pain points, business value, feasibility, risk and speed to impact.
- Lead the full product lifecycle — problem discovery, use-case definition, experimentation, prioritisation, build, launch, adoption and optimisation.
- Partner with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, designers, platform teams and business leaders to ship reliable AI products at scale.
- Evaluate and integrate external AI and LLM platforms where they create a clear advantage, while maintaining security, privacy, cost and performance discipline.
- Shape modern AI product practices, including model evaluation, human-in-the-loop design, feedback loops, observability and continuous improvement.
- Translate AI capability into measurable business outcomes: revenue and monetisation, cost optimisation, productivity, risk reduction, customer experience and engagement.
- Establish practical governance for responsible AI, including regulatory compliance, data privacy, security, explainability, risk management and auditability.
- Build the AI product management capability through talent, operating rhythms, decision frameworks, documentation and best practices.
- Lead, mentor and grow a high-performing team while influencing senior stakeholders across the organisation.

- A focused AI roadmap connected to priority business and customer outcomes — not a collection of disconnected experiments. \
- AI products launched and adopted at scale, with clear measurement of value, quality, safety, reliability and user experience.
- Visible impact through improved efficiency, productivity, customer experience, risk management, revenue or cost outcomes.
- A strong evaluation and governance framework that enables responsible experimentation and confident deployment.
- A repeatable AI product operating model and a growing team capable of taking ideas from insight to impact.
What we are looking for:
- 12–14 years of product management experience, including at least 3 years building or scaling AI products.
- A proven record of shipping B2C or B2B AI/ML-driven products at scale and taking them beyond pilots into sustained adoption.
- Strong working knowledge of generative AI and its product applications, including LLMs, transformers, embeddings and modern AI application patterns.
- The ability to connect technical possibilities to customer needs, commercial value and execution priorities.
- Experience leading high-performing product teams and working effectively across product, engineering, data science, design, risk, compliance and business functions.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical judgement, communication and stakeholder-influence skills.
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving, ambiguous and highly regulated environment.
It is a strong plus if you bring:
- Experience in payments, fintech, financial services or other regulated technology businesses.
- Experience with AI platforms, LLM providers, model evaluation, LLMOps/MLOps, retrieval-augmented generation or AI-agent experiences.
- A track record of balancing innovation with privacy, security, responsible AI and regulatory requirements.
