Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift Description: Heritage House Troy, NY - Full Time - Days We are seeking an individual to provide a clean, orderly, and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What you will do: Performs linen handling functions including cart preparation, distribution of clean linen to user departments, pack making and soiled linen pick-up. Responsibilities:
- Fill linen carts
- Deliver linen carts to various floors or locations
- Pick up heavy soiled linen from the various floors
- Fill and load machines in various locations
- Utilizing laundry machines correctly
- Cleaning linen carts
- Other duties as assigned
What you will need:
- Must have 3 years of laundry cleaning experience
- Must be able to lift heavy soiled laundry
- Computer knowledge desired
Per Diem Falt Rate $17.00 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
