Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift Description: Position Purpose: Exercise Specialist and Personal Trainer PRN position at St Mary’s Wellness Center in Athens, GA.
What you will do:
- Develop and implement exercise programs for clients of the Wellness Center
- Supervise exercise therapy in various wellness center programs (including Cardiac rehab/Post rehab)
- Currently client load that supports 30-32hrs weekly between personal training and post rehabilitation exercise sessions.
What you will need:
- Education : Must have a bachelor’s degree in exercise science, health promotion or related area with a major emphasis in exercise science, physical education, or kinesiology.
- Experience : Must have at least 1yr Exercise Specialist experience in healthcare setting. Prefer experience in both clinical settings and gym
- Certifications: Personal Training Certification (NASM or other)
Position Highlights: ·
- PRN position (8am to 4pm) with possibility of changing to a Fulltime role after 3 months
