Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components or applications. The role requires continuous collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software. The engineer actively participates in refining software architecture and improving system performance while adapting to evolving business requirements. Emphasis is placed on utilizing modern development methodologies and frameworks to create robust and maintainable solutions that align with organizational goals and client expectations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the implementation of best practices to improve software development processes and team productivity.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure quality assurance and timely delivery of software components through effective project management.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Engineering.
- Experience with data pipeline development and management.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and distributed computing.
- Familiarity with database systems and data warehousing solutions.
- Ability to optimize data workflows for performance and scalability.
- Competence in programming languages commonly used in data engineering such as Python or Java.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
