Expected hourly range of $33.92 to $37.69 , varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k). In addition to your hourly wage, this role has additional earning potential through voluntary overtime and task work opportunities dependent on business need.
Primary Purpose of Position The Sr. Journeyman – Appliance Service is a highly skilled technician responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex service and repair issues involving residential appliances and gas/electric water heaters. The position serves as a technical resource for escalated and repeat service issues, applying advanced diagnostic and problem-solving skills to deliver effective solutions and a high-quality customer experience. The Sr. Journeyman also supports the development of other service technicians through field training, mentoring, and sharing knowledge gained through manufacturer training, while supporting effective equipment and inventory practices and promoting services offered by Constellation Home.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Identifies and corrects complex problems in specified appliances and gas/electric water heaters.
- Serves as expert in handling escalated cases involving multiple requests for service.
- Maintains and makes recommendations as to additions or deletions of Company stock and equipment.
- Attends appliance manufacturer training and presents to team.
- Promotes the sale of all other services offered by our Company to customers.
- Serves as trainer/mentor for other service techs in the field.
Minimum Qualifications
• Valid Maryland driver's license & a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience • Must be able to work weekends, holidays and overtime. • Average physical ability (Bending, stooping and climbing ladders). Ability to lift objects of various weight. • •
Preferred Qualifications
- Gas fitter's license
- CFC Certification Core & Type 1
