Exemption Status: Non-Exempt Hiring Range: $20.47 - $36.67 (based on a full time schedule of 40 hours per week). Please note that the final offer will vary based on scheduled hours. Compensation for part-time or reduced schedules will be prorated based on scheduled weekly hours, experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.

Provides a variety of duties involving maintenance of outside grounds, moving, storing of supplies and equipment.

I. Major Responsibilities: 1. Maintains lawns through mowing, watering, fertilizing and seeding. 2. Cares for planting beds/ gardens by planting, laying mulch, removing weeds, pruning, fertilizing and other related activities to present an atheistic atmosphere. 3. Identifies plants and bushes and performs specific proper maintenance procedures 4. r Removes snow and ice; keeping roads and walkways safe for travel 5. Perform seasonal cleanups to include removal of leaves and other debris

II. Position Qualifications: License/Certification/Education: Required: 1. Must have a valid Massachusetts driver license (minimum Class D rating). 2. A valid Massachusetts Hoisting Engineer License (minimum Class 2A rating) within 6 months of employment

Experience/Skills: Required: 1. Minimum of five years related experience required. 2. Knowledge of plant material, planting techniques, pruning, weeding and grass mowing. 3. Must be able to work independently and complete tasks as assigned. 4. Must be able to work flexible shifts as needed to provide a safe work environment for patients, employees and visitors (i.e. snow removal). 5. Must be able to lift 50 pounds as needed. 6. Must be able to learn preventive maintenance on small power equipment (ie. Snowblowers/lawnmowers).

Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.
