THE JOB: As a General Maintenance Engineer, you will support the daily maintenance and repair needs of various departments throughout the property. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair a variety of building systems and equipment, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general facility components, to help ensure smooth and efficient property operations.
THE STARTING RATE: $ 38.91
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Respond to property maintenance requests by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving a variety of issues involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, doors, hardware, fixtures, and general building systems
- Perform preventive maintenance throughout the property's public areas, common spaces, and operational facilities to ensure equipment and building systems remain safe and functional
- Adhere to established safety regulations, company policies, and departmental procedures while identifying and escalating potential safety hazards, equipment concerns, or complex maintenance issues to Engineering leadership as needed
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Has prior facilities maintenance or engineering experience in a hotel, resort, commercial property, or industrial facility
- Has hands-on experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems and fixtures
