Investor Relations Specialist

About the company Our client is an investment firm. The role Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Look after relationships with current backers by keeping them informed on how their holdings are progressing and bringing them into side investment opportunities. Also find and build ties with prospective institutional backers, help run large vehicle-based side investments, and keep contact records accurate in the firm's database. What you'll do - Brief current backers on how their holdings are performing and invite them to invest alongside the firm. - Identify and cultivate ties with prospective institutional backers. - Assist senior staff with large vehicle-based side investments. - Work with the investment team on deals at every stage of a company's growth. - Maintain the contact database so records stay precise and orderly. Requirements What we're looking for - Skill in building financial models for side investments and vehicle-based deal structures. - Degree from a top-ranked university. - Track record at an elite investing, banking or strategy consulting employer. - Hands-on experience configuring and administering a contact management system used to follow backers. - Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to juggle several workstreams at once. Bonus points - Prior work with large institutional backers, including fundraising from them. - Familiarity drafting periodic reporting for backers on their holdings.
