Alafaya Trail Animal Hospital is hiring a full-time veterinarian to join our three-doctor team in Oviedo. For more than 20 years we have cared for the pets of East Orlando, and many of our clients have been with us for decades. That kind of loyalty comes from seeing the same families year after year, and you'll have the time and the team to build those relationships yourself. Our caseload runs from wellness and puppy and kitten care to dentistry, soft tissue surgery, allergy and dermatology, internal medicine and urgent care, with laser therapy as part of how we practice.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- Valid veterinary license in the state of Florida (or ability to obtain)
- DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- Comfort with a mix of wellness, dental, soft tissue surgery and urgent care cases

Alafaya Trail Animal Hospital is part of the OrlandoVets family of four hospitals and has served East Orlando and the Oviedo area for more than 20 years. We care for dogs and cats, offering wellness care and vaccinations, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, spay and neuter care, allergy and dermatology, laser therapy, internal medicine, and urgent and emergency care. We stay up to date on the latest medical technology and techniques, and our three doctors work as a team.
LOCATION
Oviedo is a family-friendly community in Seminole County, with parks, lakes, trails and a small-town center, and Orlando's restaurants, theaters and attractions about thirty minutes away. The University of Central Florida is nearby, and the Atlantic beaches are about an hour east, so there's always something to do on a day off
