Come make the world and accelerate your success. It takes great people to achieve greatness. People with a sense of purpose and integrity. People with a relentless pursuit of excellence. People who care about making things better For Those Who Make The World™. Sound like you? Join our top-notch team of approximately 48,000 diverse and high-performing professionals globally who are making their mark on some of the world’s most beloved brands, including DEWALT®, BLACK+DECKER®, CRAFTSMAN®, STANLEY®, CUB CADET®, and HUSTLER®. Role: We are looking for a high-performing, entrepreneurial Account Executive who wants to build a territory, create opportunities, and grow into selling a broader portfolio of construction technology. This is not an order-taking sales role. The successful candidate will proactively prospect, cold call, build relationships, conduct software demonstrations, navigate complex organizations, and close business. The role will initially focus on Tool Connect Asset Management software, with the opportunity to expand into additional construction technology software applications. You should be equally comfortable walking on a construction jobsite and talking with an end user as you are presenting a business case to the C-suite. You won't wait for opportunities. You'll create them. What You'll Own: Build & Grow the Business
• Build and own a book of business through outbound prospecting, cold calling, field engagement, referrals, and internal partnerships.
- Build and own a book of business through outbound prospecting, cold calling, field engagement, referrals, and internal partnerships.
- Develop new opportunities without relying solely on inbound leads.
- Identify and penetrate both enterprise and small-to-mid-sized accounts.
- Build relationships from field-level users through executive leadership.
- Maintain consistent pipeline coverage, manage accounts, and accountability for territory performance.
• Lead strong discovery conversations to uncover customer challenges and opportunities. • Tailor presentations for field users, operations teams, technical stakeholders, and executives. • Build business cases around productivity, asset visibility, utilization, accountability, and operational efficiency. • Manage opportunities with urgency, persistence, and disciplined follow-through. Own the Sales Process & CRM You will own opportunities from: Prospecting → Discovery → Demo → Business Case → Proposal → Close → Expansion Strong CRM discipline is expected, including accurate opportunity stages, next steps, contacts, close dates, pipeline, and forecasts. Experience with Zoho CRM is a plus, although Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar CRM experience is required. Build Internal Partnerships: Partner across Tool Field Sales, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Sales Operations, Engineering, and strategic account teams to identify opportunities and accelerate deals. We want someone who knows how to leverage the strength of a large organization while still operating with the speed and ownership of a start-up. Grow Beyond Asset Tracking Software: Tool Connect Asset Management is the starting point. The successful Account Executive will develop technical and commercial expertise to sell across an expanding portfolio. We are looking for someone who wants to become a construction technology expert, not simply an expert in one product. What We're Looking For:
• 5+ years of B2B sales experience. • Proven ability to generate pipeline through cold calling and outbound prospecting. • Experience managing a complete sales cycle. • Strong discovery, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills. • Technically savvy with the ability to learn software quickly. • Experience conducting software or technical demonstrations remotely and in person. • Confidence communicating from end users through C-suite executives. • Strong CRM, opportunity management, forecasting, and data hygiene experience. • SaaS, construction, or construction technology experience preferred. • Zoho CRM experience is a plus. • Ability to travel approximately 40–50%. • Texas-based candidates strongly preferred. Who Will Thrive: You are a hunter and a builder. You don't wait for perfect information or an established pipeline. You create momentum, ask good questions, find the right partners, and take ownership of the outcome. You can walk onto a jobsite, understand a customer's problem, demonstrate the technology, build the business case, and confidently take the conversation to executive leadership. Most importantly, you are competitive, curious, coachable, technically capable, and excited to grow beyond one solution into a broader construction technology portfolio. Own the territory. Own the pipeline. Own the customer. Own the outcome . The Details: You’ll receive a competitive salary and a great benefits plan, including:
• Medical, dental, life, vision, disability, 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement in addition to programs & benefits in support of your well-being. • Discounts on Stanley Black & Decker tools and other partner programs.
