Manager, Wind Engineering

The Manager, Project Engineering (Onshore Wind) will support Vena Energy's regional wind farm engineering and design activities from early-stage screening through pre-construction development. The role is accountable for delivering optimized project designs that maximize project value and minimize Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) across Vena's onshore wind portfolio.

The position will manage a multidisciplinary engineering team based in Bangalore and provide technical leadership across wind resource assessment, energy yield analysis, site suitability assessments, wind farm design optimization, concept engineering, project feasibility studies, and CAPEX/OPEX estimation.

The successful candidate will drive the internalization of key engineering capabilities, standardization of engineering methodologies, development of digital engineering tools, and implementation of best practices across Vena's wind development portfolio. The role will additionally be responsible for overseeing Vena Energy's regional wind measurement portfolio, ensuring effective monitoring of meteorological masts and LiDAR campaigns through the VeMeMos platform and providing high-quality wind resource data to support project development, site suitability assessments, and energy yield analyses.

In addition to supporting Vena Energy's internal development portfolio, the Manager will support in developing and growing an external engineering consulting and advisory business. The role will leverage Vena's expertise in wind resource assessment, energy analytics, LCOE optimization, site suitability, concept engineering, operational performance analysis, and VeMeMos-based wind measurement monitoring to provide value-added technical services to external clients across the renewable energy sector.
