About The Role:
We're looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial enterprise sales professional to lead YipitData's expansion into the world's largest banking institutions.
While we've established early traction within the banking and advisory ecosystem, significant opportunity remains to expand our presence within Tier 1 global banks, including institutions such as JPMorgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, and Bank of America.
In this senior individual contributor role, you'll own our most strategic banking accounts, with a primary focus on opening new relationships, acquiring flagship customers, and establishing YipitData as a trusted provider of proprietary data, research, and insights.
We're looking for someone who brings deep familiarity with the banking industry, understands how major financial institutions evaluate and use data and insights, and has established relationships that can accelerate our understanding of the market and create new commercial opportunities.
This is a highly entrepreneurial role. While YipitData has extensive experience delivering insights to sophisticated customers, our go-to-market approach within large banking institutions is still evolving. You'll have significant ownership in shaping our banking go-to-market strategy, from identifying priority buyers and high-value use cases to refining our market positioning and developing a repeatable approach to winning within the world's largest financial institutions.
The ideal candidate combines a proven track record of complex enterprise sales with deep banking industry knowledge, strong relationships, and a passion for building new business.
This is a remote-friendly opportunity that can sit in NYC (where our headquarters is located), one of our office hubs, or anywhere else in the US. We expect east coast / central time work hours. Depending upon where the remote work is performed, income could be subject to New York State tax withholding.
As Our Senior Sales Executive, Strategic Banking, You Will:
- Own our Tier 1 banking commercial strategy: Lead commercial development across a portfolio of the world's largest banking institutions, with responsibility for building relationships, generating opportunities, and winning new business.
- Open doors into strategic accounts: Leverage your banking industry knowledge, professional network, and proactive business development skills to identify and engage key stakeholders within complex financial institutions.
- Identify high-value use cases and buyers: Develop a deep understanding of how different banking teams leverage external data, research, and insights, identifying the functions, decision-makers, and business challenges where YipitData can deliver differentiated value.
- Drive new customer acquisition: Lead complex enterprise sales cycles from initial prospecting and discovery through solution development, executive engagement, procurement, negotiation, and closing.
- Build executive-level relationships: Establish credibility with senior banking professionals and develop relationships across multiple buying centers to support initial customer acquisition and long-term account penetration.
- Sell differentiated data and insights solutions: Work closely with our Solutions and Research teams to connect YipitData's proprietary capabilities to the specific needs and strategic priorities of banking customers.
- Establish flagship customer partnerships: Prioritize winning meaningful relationships with major banking institutions that create a foundation for broader adoption and expansion.
- Develop a repeatable sales playbook: Translate early wins, customer feedback, and market learnings into actionable strategies that improve our ability to win across the banking vertical.
- Own pipeline development and forecasting: Build and manage a strategic pipeline of enterprise opportunities, maintaining strong deal discipline and accurate revenue forecasts.
You Are Likely To Succeed If:
- You have extensive experience selling complex enterprise solutions into major banking institutions, ideally with direct exposure to Corporate / Commercial and Investment Banking teams, and a strong understanding of their organizational structures, buying processes, and commercial priorities.
- You understand the banking data and insights landscape. You have firsthand experience with how banking professionals use external data, research, analytics, or intelligence to inform business decisions and can identify compelling use cases for differentiated insights solutions.
- You bring an established professional network within the banking industry, with relationships and market knowledge that can accelerate customer discovery, stakeholder access, and new business development.
- You have a demonstrated track record of landing new business within large, complex financial institutions, including creating opportunities from scratch and navigating sophisticated, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- You're a proactive, strategic hunter who is energized by breaking into difficult-to-access accounts and building new commercial relationships.
- You have experience operating in emerging markets, developing new customer segments, or introducing new solutions, and you're comfortable building a go-to-market approach without a fully established playbook.
- You have strong executive presence and commercial judgment, with the ability to build credibility with senior banking stakeholders and translate complex solutions into clear business value.
- You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You can identify market opportunities and develop account strategies while personally driving the prospecting and sales activity required to win.
- You are highly collaborative and intellectually curious, with the ability to translate customer conversations into valuable market insights and actionable recommendations for internal teams.
- You thrive in entrepreneurial environments, take ownership of outcomes, and are motivated by the opportunity to build a strategically important business.

Our compensation package includes comprehensive benefits, perks, and a competitive salary:
