Maintenance Generalist (C Shift) #4 - Berry Street Plant

Job Details: Pay: determine by skill level Work schedule: Wednesday 12 PM - 6 PM; Thursday - Saturday 6 AM - 6 PM (12-hour shifts)

Job description: · Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. · Provide troubleshooting and repair of any mechanical malfunction. · Prepare written documentation of actions taken to correct equipment problems. · Responds to mechanical or electrical breakdowns and handle emergency situations. · Perform preventive maintenance according to schedule. · Complete appropriate paperwork and reports · Must comply with lockout/ tagout, confined space, and all other safety programs. · Must be able to perform mechanical and basic electrical trouble shooting and repairs. · Able to perform diagnosis and repairs without supervision. · Capable of starting all equipment before production startup and shutdown without supervision · Ability to assist with other mechanics as needed. · Perform other duties as assigned. · Work in temperature that will vary with outside ambient temperatures and humidity. It can be dusty, warm, cold and/or humid. · The positions physical requirements will include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping and the ability to climb ladders, lifts, and scaffolds. · Lifting will also be required and depending on department could be up to 70lbs.
