A. Safety Management
• Assist in implementing and monitoring safety policies, procedures and standards at the plant.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring safety policies, procedures and standards at the plant.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, safety walks and workplace observations under the guidance of the EHS Manager.
- Support hazard identification and risk assessment activities and follow up on identified corrective actions.
- Monitor proper use of PPE and safety equipment by employees and contractors.
- Assist in incident / near-miss reporting and investigation and support implementation of corrective actions.
• Support monitoring of environmental parameters, waste disposal, water usage and pollution control systems.

- Assist in monitoring ETP operations and maintaining relevant operational records.
- Ensure proper segregation, storage and disposal of waste within the plant premises as per defined procedures.
- Support compliance with applicable environmental requirements and standards.
- Assist in maintaining records related to environmental monitoring and statutory requirements.
• Support implementation of occupational health and workplace hygiene practices.
- Support implementation of occupational health and workplace hygiene practices.
- Coordinate / assist in employee medical check-up and health surveillance activities.
- Monitor workplace conditions relating to dust, fumes and other occupational hazards and report deviations.
- Assist in maintaining occupational health and safety record.
- Assist in maintaining EHS statutory registers, records and compliance documentation.
- Support compliance with applicable requirements under the Factories Act, Pollution Control Board norms, Hazardous Waste Management Rules and other applicable regulations.
- Assist during internal, external and government EHS inspections / audits.
- Follow up with concerned departments for closure of EHS audit observations.
