Post-Sales Engineer The Opportunity: In this role, you'll turn validated AI solutions into working customer deployments. You will work directly with customers to implement workflows, integrate enterprise systems, and demonstrate that the solution meets agreed technical acceptance criteria.
You will adapt reusable agent components, configure customer environments and instrumentation, and diagnose integration, retrieval, model, and workflow issues. You will establish customer evaluation baselines, coordinate readiness reviews, and prepare deployment, rollback, troubleshooting, and enablement materials. Your accountability includes implementation quality, initial deployment, technical acceptance, and explicit handover to designated operational owners and Customer Success. You will return reusable improvements and recurring defects to engineering.

You Have:
- Experience delivering customer-facing software or AI implementations from requirements through deployment and technical handover
- Experience in Python or TypeScript and integrating enterprise APIs, authentication, data sources, and business workflows
- Experience developing or adapting agent workflows, model integrations, retrieval-augmented generation, and tool connections
- Experience deploying applications in cloud or enterprise environments and configuring access, secrets, and application security controls
- Experience building customer-specific test and evaluation suites and validating results against agreed quality and performance thresholds
- Ability to implement end-to-end instrumentation and use traces, logs, and metrics to troubleshoot behavior, integrations, latency, and cost
- Ability to prepare deployment and rollback procedures, runbooks, solution inventories, and technical knowledge-transfer materials
- Ability to manage implementation dependencies, communicate limitations, and obtain explicit acceptance of deliverables and support responsibilities
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelor’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
