Job Description:
The Respiratory Support Technician is responsible for supporting the operational needs of the Respiratory Therapy Department. This role focuses on managing oxygen (O₂) tank supplies, maintaining and cleaning respiratory equipment, restocking essential respiratory supplies, and monitoring inventory levels.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- This is a non-licensed Support Tech position. Applicants must be currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow procedures for equipment cleaning and handling medical gases.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a hospital environment.
- Basic computer skills for tracking inventory levels and equipment logs.
