Summary Job Description: CT Tech

Our Imaging Department encompasses multiple services including Computed Tomography, Diagnostic X-Ray, Interventional Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT Imaging, and Ultrasound. Shift: Part time, First Shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides health care services applying pulsed x-ray energy to assist diagnosis or treatment.
- Performs CT procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner.
- Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.
- Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.
Requirements:
- Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology
- Current American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Registry
- Current license with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
- Advanced ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography required within one (1) year of hire
- 3 Years of related experience
- Current BLS Certification
