Location: Dodson Medical Office Building Department: Psychology-FW Clinic Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 40 Summary: The Cook Children’s Post-Doctoral Fellowship in the Psychology Department provides a full-time employment position designed to give Post-Doctoral Fellows practical experience in the operations of a pediatric hospital outpatient behavioral health clinic. The position will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations, generating treatment recommendations, and conducting evaluation feedback sessions. Fellows will be working with a broad range of patient populations, ranging in ages from 0-18 years with a multitude of medical diagnoses and neurodevelopmental and/or neurocognitive disorders.
Required Education:
• Ph.D. or Psy.D in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, and/or School Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
- Ph.D. or Psy.D in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, and/or School Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
- Training in child growth and development required.
- Prior experience in pediatric setting preferred.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a desire to develop outstanding leadership skills.
- Demonstrate commitment to high standards of patient care and customer relations practice.
- Must obtain Texas Provisionally Licensed Psychologist while in this position.
