Pricing Specialist - Ocean & Air Freight

JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.

The Sales Pricing Analyst will be people-oriented, highly motivated and a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This position will be responsible for assisting the Regional Sales Support Manager and leading ad hoc quote requests. The Sales Pricing Analyst will be responsible for producing internal/external quotes and capturing the win/loss ratios by logging the feedback results in the system. Additionally, the Sales Pricing Analyst will utilize organizational resources to quote while ensuring timely responsiveness to ensure KPI adherence.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

ENVIRONMENT: 100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. Travel will be (up to 10%) required in support of the position’s responsibilities. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and finger to feel and handle; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, and crouch; lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds .

In accordance with Illinois pay transparency laws, the hourly pay range for this position is $28.84-33.65/hourly. This range reflects the base salary or wage, which may vary based upon, but not limited to factors such as education, experience, skills, proficiency, job performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program
