About the job
Mechanical Design Engineer responsible for designing and releasing custom busbar assemblies and tap-off boxes for data center applications. The role requires strong SolidWorks and AutoCAD skills, experience with 2D/3D modeling, BOMs, ETO designs, and manufacturing processes such as sheet metal fabrication, welding, and machining. Candidates should ideally have 3+ years of mechanical design experience, knowledge of SolidWorks PDM, and familiarity with ANSI/ISO and UL/CSA/ETL standards. Up to 10% travel may be required.
