About the job
The Controls Technician III is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, programming, and improving industrial control systems and automation equipment. This senior-level position supports production by ensuring the reliability of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, robotics, instrumentation, electrical systems, and industrial networks while providing technical leadership and mentoring to junior technicians. The Controls Technician III works independently, and under some supervision, on complex automation issues, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
