About the job

About the Opportunity LMG Staffing Solutions is conducting a confidential search on behalf of a fast-growing, fully remote marketing agency that helps funded B2B SaaS and technology companies win visibility in traditional and AI-powered search. The company has nearly doubled revenue over the past year and is building its first-ever sales development function to keep pace with a growing stream of inbound demand. This is a newly created role reporting directly to the Founder, sitting outside the delivery-focused teams (content, strategy, and link building). Position Summary The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be the first point of contact for a steady stream of inbound, outbound (ABM), and reactivation leads, and will play a key role in building the company’s outbound systems from the ground up. This is not a generic dialer role — the ideal candidate has real experience selling into B2B SaaS or funded tech startups, can hold a credible first conversation with senior marketing and growth buyers, and is motivated to grow into a more senior sales role as the function scales. The role starts part-time (~20 hours/week), with a 90-day review for a move to full-time based on performance and lead volume.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities Lead Response & Qualification

• Respond same-day, ideally within the hour, to every inbound, outbound (ABM), and reactivation handoff — across email, LinkedIn, and phone/text

  • Qualify every lead against ICP criteria, protecting the founder’s calendar from below-budget or bad-fit prospects

• Run second-channel follow-up (call, text, LinkedIn) wherever email goes quiet on handoffs from inbound and ABM

  • Organized and responsive across multiple channels — phone, LinkedIn, email, and CRM
  • Coachable and fast-learning, comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy in a lean, remote-first environment
  • Based in the United States; Eastern or Central time zone preferred to support overlap with a globally distributed team and West Coast clients (soft preference)

• Response speed (non-negotiable): same-day, within-the-hour response on every handoff, no exceptions • Booked calls: 15–20 qualified discovery calls booked per month, roughly one per day, across handoff response and self-sourced outreach • The founder stops being the bottleneck on responding to his own pipeline Benefits Uncapped commission — 5% on every deal you personally book that closes, and with 2–6 week sales cycles, commission can quickly exceed the base pay Fast path to full-time — 90-day review with an updated, higher base if it's working well for both sides Fully remote, flexible part-time schedule (~20 hrs/week) Direct mentorship from the founder — shadow live sales calls and the playbook early on Ground-floor ownership — help build the company's first-ever outbound sales systems and tooling from scratch High-growth environment — the company nearly doubled revenue this year with a goal to triple, meaning real room to grow into a more senior sales role
