Redwood Waste Solutions, a Waste Connections company, is looking to hire a safety conscious Site Attendant to join our team in Albion, CA !
The schedule will be 5 days per week. The schedule is Saturday to Wednesday. from 8am to 5pm. Thursday and Friday off. Starting pay will be $21.00 per hour . The pay range for this job is $20-21/hour.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and direct all customers and employees upon entry to the center
- Greet and direct all customers and employees upon entry to the center
- Ensuring that customers and employees conduct all business in a safe manner
- Data entry and answering phones as needed
- Ensuring that incoming waste loads are safe and do not contain any inappropriate material
- Cleaning, sweeping and pressure washing equipment
- Providing general upkeep of the center
- Heavy lifting of equipment and material
- Learn to operate forklift and bobcat
- Other laborer duties as assigned
- Customer service skills and a great attitude
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand throughout an 8 hour shift
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs pounds
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Must be able to pass a background check and pre employment + random drug tests
