Job Description:
Ultrasound Technologist Location: Brooklyn, NY Hours: 4/10 hour shifts, Tuesday - Friday (between 7:30am-6:00pm), RDO Monday Organization: New York Imaging (NYI)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform breast exams (screening, diagnostic, and procedures)
- Prepare preliminary impressions and communicate findings to radiologists/cardiologists
- Ensure proper equipment maintenance and documentation
- Follow all radiology protocols and prioritize emergent cases
- Assist physicians with procedures and biopsies
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program (or equivalent)
- RDMS Breast required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 2+ years of experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
