Sustainable Comfort, Inc. is in search of a Certified HERS Rater to join our team in Albany, NY. As a Certified HERS Rater, you will be an essential part of our mission to drive sustainable construction practices and reduce the environmental impact of multifamily housing. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct HERS ratings and energy assessments for multifamily residential buildings.
- Collaborate with architects, builders, and developers to optimize energy performance.
- Prepare comprehensive reports with energy efficiency recommendations.
- Perform diagnostic tests including blower door and duct leakage tests.
- Stay current with industry standards and certifications.
- Certified as a HERS Rater.
- Knowledge of green building principles and sustainable construction practices.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in energy modeling software is advantageous.
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
