Location: Deploying to the Marshall Islands.
Job Summary: The Lieutenant on Kwajalein supervises small groups of guards or assumes positions requiring greater responsibility for Entry & Exit, Dock Security Checkpoint, or the Central Police Station.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handles all personnel and visitors arriving to or departing from Kwajalein Island by marine vessels.
- Supervises small groups of guards.
- Supervises small group of Local National (LN) Access Control Officers.
- Liaisons with LN Customs Officers.
- Coordinate and assist with Foreign National (FN) escorts when required.
- Become familiar with Host Nation Customs and Courtesies.
- Assist with Access Control Procedures during special events.
- Ensures that all assigned guard posts are staffed, monitoring performance of assigned guard force personnel.
- Ensures that all guard personnel are aware of and abide by all Post and general orders.
Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must have an active U.S. Secret Clearance.
- Minimum 3 years of security management experience in supervisory and/or management roles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ASIS CPP certification is preferred.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:
- Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
