Location: Geisinger Medical Center (GMC) Shift: Days (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Worker Type: Regular Exemption Status: Yes Job Summary: Geisinger is seeking Breast Imaging Radiologists to join our established breast imaging program in Danville, Pennsylvania.
This opportunity offers a true Monday-Friday, one-week-on / one-week-off schedule. When you are off, you are truly off, with no breast imaging reads, procedures, call responsibilities, or remote work requirements during your scheduled off week. Your time away from work is fully protected. Job Duties:
Opportunity Highlights

- Dedicated breast imaging practice
- Collaborative team of more than 15 breast imaging radiologists within a 90+ physician radiology department
- Integrated multidisciplinary breast health program
- $140,000 starting bonus
- Salary starts at $525,000, with higher compensation considered based on experience; comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance are provided
Position Details:
Clinical Practice
- Screening and diagnostic mammography
- Breast ultrasound and breast MRI
- Image-guided breast procedures
- Multidisciplinary breast conferences
- Collaboration with breast surgeons, pathologists, genetic counselors, psychologists, nurse navigators, and the high-risk breast clinic
Technology and Academic Opportunities
- 3D mammography, contrast-enhanced mammography, and advanced biopsy capabilities
- Teaching opportunities with radiology residents and medical students
- Optional participation in clinical research and trials

Qualifications
- Fellowship-trained or experienced Breast Imaging Radiologist
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
- Commitment to high-quality patient care within a multidisciplinary breast imaging program
Education: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine- (Required) Experience:
